1. Who we are
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of hewstone.io, our AI voice receptionist at (612) 453-1585, our SMS program, and any services we deliver. Hewstone is operated by Thomas Cannaday in Minnesota, United States. Contact: hello@hewstone.io.
2. SMS program terms
Program name: Hewstone Booking Link SMS
Program description: When you call our business line and verbally request the booking link, we send one SMS to the phone number you called from. The message contains a link to schedule a strategy call with Hewstone.
Message frequency: Low. Typically one message per interaction. Hewstone does not send recurring marketing or promotional SMS.
Message and data rates: Standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Hewstone does not charge for SMS messages.
Opt-in: Opt-in occurs either when you verbally request the booking link during a live phone call with our AI receptionist (by verbally requesting the link you consent to receive one SMS at the number you called from), or when you submit your number and check the SMS-consent box on our SMS Terms page. Opt-out: Reply STOP to any message you receive from us and you will not receive further messages.
Help: Reply HELP or contact us at hello@hewstone.io for support.
Supported carriers: AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and other major US carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy: See our Privacy Policy for how we handle the phone number you call from. We do not share, rent, or sell mobile information to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
3. AI voice receptionist
When you call (612) 453-1585, your call is answered by an AI system. The AI is intended to provide information about Hewstone, schedule strategy calls, and route messages to the business owner. The AI may make mistakes — if anything you hear is unclear or seems wrong, please email hello@hewstone.io for clarification. Calls and SMS may be recorded or transcribed for quality and follow-up; see the Privacy Policy.
4. Services
If you engage Hewstone to build AI systems for your business, the specific scope, deliverables, timeline, pricing, and cancellation terms are set out in a separate Statement of Work that both parties sign. Those SOW terms govern the engagement and prevail over any conflicting language on this website.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use our services for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Send abusive, threatening, or harassing messages through our voice or SMS systems
- Use our SMS or voice systems to opt yourself or others in fraudulently
6. Intellectual property
All content on hewstone.io — including the Hewstone name, logo, copy, design, illustrations, and code — is owned by Hewstone and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute it without written permission. Deliverables we build for paying clients are governed by the ownership terms in the relevant Statement of Work.
7. Disclaimers
Hewstone's website, AI receptionist, and SMS program are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted, that the AI will always answer correctly, or that every SMS will be delivered (carriers may filter or delay messages outside our control).
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hewstone's total liability arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the website, voice, or SMS systems will not exceed the amount you paid Hewstone in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100 if you paid nothing.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Minnesota.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the site, voice line, or SMS program after a change constitutes acceptance.
